The Christie Residence is a luxury ground-level home which commenced construction in August, 2015. The client presented a brief to deliver a modern, luxury residence for the whole family. 8 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms are staggered around a lineal floor plan allowing an elongated gallery/hallway to connect all zones, including an office, open-air gym, outdoor alfresco entertainment area and separate living quarters for a 'granny flat'.

 

Double height raking ceilings feature throughout, providing the house a grand, open feel whilst encouraging ample cross flow ventilation and cooling through internal spaces.
